Shuffles Dance Studio, based in Farnborough, Hampshire, offers a wide range of dance tuition for dancers of all ages. Dance styles covered include Ballroom, Latin American, Freestyle, Hi-NRG, Street-Dance, Lyrical Jazz, Rock’n’Roll and Show-Dance. Wedding dances are also something that we assist with on a regular basis. As you can see from our countdown clock, we have been up and running for quite some time, with some families having 3 generations currently training with us. It makes no difference whether you want to take part in a class once a week for fun, or want to become a champion, all are welcome. We hold optional exam sessions twice a year, which are regulated by the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) and we take students to competitions most weeks, again this is entirely optional. Many pupils who have trained with us have gone on to become part of the dance profession and to attend colleges such as Brit school, Central Ballet and Laine Theatre Arts or to take up positions with companies such as Disney, Qdos and Haven. Our principals, Karen and Royston Shepherd, have a whole heap of achievements under their belts, including being members of the British Squad and appearing on Come Dancing (Check out our Gallery) but it’s your dreams that we are now focused on!
