Out and About 2009
At last !!
After 3 years worth of invitations the weather has finally allowed us to have our showdancers perform at the Farnborough donkey derby organised by the Rotary club. With rain first thing in the morning it looked as though it was 'here we go again' but after a couple of hours it was full on sunshine. This was to be the last engagemnet for the current showdancers as we now reset all the classes and start the mammoth task of preparing for our next event due in mid July. We have a very exciting year of events lined up for our new showdancers and at the same time would like to thank all those involved in showdance
2008 - 2009.
Next came the North Camp Carnival
Unlike the Donkey Derby the weather was not so kind shortly after we all boarded the float down came the rain, no way did we let that dampen our spirits. The procession through the streets of North Camp was well attended and we moved on to diplays at the recreation ground also where the judging of floats took place. It was our first float for a long time and we were very happy to come third. Many thanks to APG Traffic.

Next up was Victoria Day followed very quickly by
Green & Global.

And then it was on to the big one
"The Portsmouth Variety Show"
What a fantastic day and night we had departing from "Shuffles" shortly after 10.00 am and returning in the early hours of Monday morning. Our showdancers made us as teachers so very proud, you all worked hard helped each other and behaved so very very well.
